Build Your Own Clone does not offer technical
support or parts for modifications.  Please do not
ask.  Do not email with questions concerning
modifications.  All parts for these mods can be found
at electronics distributors such as www.digikey.com
or even RadioShack and there are DIY FX forums
such as the forum at diystompboxes.com where you
can get advice.

Most of the mods for the ToneBender MKII are going to be the
same as the FuzzFace Mods.  Do not attempt to do any of the
transistor switching or hybrid mods. The Biasing and Tone
mods are OK though.

MARSHALL SUPAFUZZ CONVERSION (easy) - Change both
of the 5uF caps to 10uF.  Change the 100K resistor that is
connected to B1 to 10K.  Change the 100K resistor that is
connected to the NEG eyelet to 47K.

FUZZ FACE SWITCH (difficult) - Here's a very cool mod.
This will give you 2 pedals in one and all you need is a DPDT
switch.  The MKII is basically a clone of the Fuzzface with a
boost in front of it.  This switch essentially allows you to bypass
that preliminary boost so you can go from Tonebender to
Fuzzface with a flip of the switch.

1. Remove the white "IN" wire from the circuit board and wire it
to the switch.
2. Run a wire from the "IN" eyelet to the switch.
3. Remove one end of the .1uf cap from the C1 eyelet.  Run
wires from both open end of the cap and the eyelet to the
switch.
4.  Add a jumper wire to the switch.
