Externally Accessible Battery Holder  Many mass
produced pedals offer external accessibility, but still
use a snap to connect the battery.  Not only will you
never need to search for a screwdriver just to change
your battery, you will never have another battery snap
come loose on you again.  This is truly a luxury item.  It
costs a little more for me to use these and it requires a
little more work to install them, but I guarantee you will
agree it's worth it.

9volt Adaptor Jack DGS Pro Audio's 2mm X 8mm 9volt
adaptor jacks are encased in a rubber grommet so your
power supply is always isolated from the chassis ground.

LED Indicator Light set in Chrome Bezel Not all boutique pedals offer a LED let alone one set in a
Chrome Bezel.  This feature doesn't enhance the sound quality any, it just looks a lot cooler and adds a real
touch of class.  

Screw-on Rubber Bumpers Self-adhesive bumpers just won't do
for pedals of this caliber.  Screw-on rubber bumpers won't ever fall
off.  You'll never need to glue them back on repeatedly.  They keep
your stompbox firmly planted to just about any surface you set it on.  
And for those of you who like to velcro mount your effects to a pedal
board, unlike all other pedals that have screw-on bumpers, the
screws that hold the bumpers in place on BTMB pedals are NOT also
used as the same screws to hold the bottom of the enclosure
together, so they can be easily removed for a nice flush mounting
surface.  

True Bypass All Big Tone Music Brewery effects have True Bypass.  This means that when your pedal is off,
your guitar signal is sent directly to the "out" jack rather than passing it through the unpowered circuit board.  
This preserves the tone of your original guitar signal.  I know True Bypass sounds like it's less complicated
than regular bypass...so why doesn't everyone use True Bypass?  Because it costs more.  Regular bypass
can be achieved with a SPDT(single pole double throw)switch.  True Bypass requires at a minimum, a
DPDT(double pole double throw)switch.  All Big Tone Music Brewery effects use a 3PDT(triple pole double
throw)switch which not only gives True Bypass, but allows for off-board actuation of the LED indicator.

Hand Etched Circuit Boards Beautiful inside and out!  All Big
Tone Music Brewery Printed Circuit Boards are etched by hand.  
They are made from 3/32 inch epoxy coated fiberglass with 2
ounce copper cladding.  These are the thickest boards with the
heaviest cladding you can get.  Thicker boards means more
durability.  Heavier cladding means better electrical continuity.  
Once again...it costs more and it's more difficult to work with, but
it's worth it.
