The instructions are the same for both the germanium and
silicon versions.  There are only 3 differences between the
two kits:
1. The 470ohm resistor is replaced by a 330ohm
2. All the RED hook up wire is replaced with BLACK wire
3. The red and black wires of the battery snap are switched.
There will be notes to remind you of where the differences
are throughout the instructions.
